I’ve been working on this blog idea for months but nothing stuck until I thought about what I really wanted out of this blog. I want to share my life, hopes, dreams as well as interesting and fabulous things I find or events I attend.
I had an idea during the summer to create a blog that would show all the things my hometown has to offer since I’m stuck (read back here) post undergrad. I never found a friend to help me on my journey. Well I take that back, Melissa was there and willing to help but like me, she had too much on her plate so the idea was left but not abandoned in my mind.
After talking to my college BFF, Ace, I realized what I needed to do to make this blog the creative outlet I needed so we talked and emailed and texted and brainstormed but we got nowhere fast that is until one night I sat and thought about what I’m looking to do.
I want to live the fabulous lifestyle not of the rich and famous but of a media guru. I want the inside views of how things happen in the entertainment world, I want the long hours working toward a deadline and the brainstorming sessions that each gives — I’m a creative for heavens sake! I live and thrive of these things. So I couldn’t think of a better word to describe what I was looking for other than fabulous. I’m pursuing fabulous!
So then I began to think, what other things would women like to know besides my journey for my dream industry job so I randomly came up with a collection of things that would be featured and thus, The Pursuit of Fabulous became a reality. Thanks for coming on this journey with me and hopefully we can find fabulous together.
